My wife wants me to put a door at the bottom of these stairs. What are the rules about doing this
This stairway leads to an add on that was built years ago. It's a bedroom loft with a bathroom. However the top is not fully closed off so for privacy the easiest solution is to add a door at the bottom. What are the do's and don'ts of having a door right at the bottom of stairs?
