Replacement of water-damaged framing
Hello, I hope this is the right place. I am a recent first-time homebuyer renovating my home. Upon tearing down drywall in the kitchen and bathroom, I have found signs of water damage on the support beams. How can I go about fixing this? FYI, I do plan on replacing the water-damaged floor in the kitchen as well, but I am focused on that horizontal beam currently. https://preview.redd.it/g0sc4n8g1ppe1.jpg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e7f7829bb24e5bbc69afb23ac70bff71c24a9b7 https://preview.redd.it/1lnwkc8g1ppe1.jpg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d09dc928bf5313607579253a0f66b0f0f67a2b5 https://preview.redd.it/dm6ric8g1ppe1.jpg?width=1576&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5be30a56fd9efcc9680176121bb43afe72bb819 submitted by /u/despanuevo [link] [comments]
