Old shower framing question
In the middle of a bathroom remodel following a leak and my wife wants to open up our shower more to make it less boxed in. The previous shower had a quarter wall that came down from the ceiling to box in the glass sliding doors. This also caused the ceiling to grow mildew quickly because it was so boxed in. The walls on the sides of the bathroom that continue down the hallway are the load bearing walls. But I do not foresee any problem in removing this header stud from the old door frame, would you guys agree? picture 1 submitted by /u/iamsoley [link] [comments]
