POLL: Following the Direct, will you be getting Donkey Kong Bananza?

Donkey Kong Bananza's Nintendo Direct is over, and with a slew of new information ahead of the game's launch on July 17, I'm curious if anyone here has changed their mind on the game, and if they will be picking it up either on launch or later on. It's been over 20 years since the last fully 3D Donkey Kong adventure, and it's definitely been a long time coming for any DK64 fans. The visuals, destructible environments, bosses, and transformations that were shown on the June 18 Direct only serve to show the amount of options and fun that can be had with this game. But are you planning to get it at all? As for me, it's a no-brainer if you own a Switch 2 to get this game, especially as it seems to be made by the Super Mario Odyssey team (even if that hasn't been confirmed as of yet). And is one of the biggest releases in an already stacked first-year calendar for the Switch 2. It feels like the perfect speedrun game as well, so I'm curious what speedrunners will get into when they pick it up. It's also great to see the whole gang back together with Dixie and Diddy Kong making their Switch 2 debuts, alongside a ton of familiar faces like Rambi. I'm also not a big fan of the 2D side-scroller games DK has had as late, and can't wait to get sunk into this massive adventure and try to find every Golden Banana in each level. Though I am curious about your thoughts as well, outside of the poll. Was there anything that stuck out in the Nintendo Direct that surprised you? I know the transformations came completely left-field and I was godsmacked by the direction the game was going. But some are already calling it a Game of the Year contender, even if that feels a bit of a stretch. Let me know in the comments below what you think!
