Prince William Is in His 'Beard Era' and Instagram Is Losing It
New photos of the royal in uniform have fans swooning.
Prince William is back in uniform, and according to the internet, it's exactly the look we’ve all been waiting for.
In a series of new photos shared to Instagram, the Prince of Wales made an official visit to Wattisham Air Base in Suffolk, where he spent the day with soldiers and their families from the Army Air Corps. Dressed in full military uniform, William looked every bit the part of colonel-in-chief. It's his new title, announced earlier this year following King Charles’s reshuffling of royal patronages.
“Proud to visit the Army Air Corps as its Colonel-in-Chief,” the caption read. “Great to spend time with the soldiers and their families here at Wattisham Air Base… Very impressed by the relentless commitment, physical capability and mental acuity on display at the combat PT session.”
But while the Prince was there to salute the regiment’s professionalism, Instagram users had other things on their minds. “Always a good day when William is in uniform,” one fan commented, while another declared, “I love the beard era so much.”
Between the polished look, the military setting, and the new facial hair, it’s safe to say Prince William is in beard era and is basking in its photogenic prime, and royal watchers are quickly taking note.
