Refinished a steel parts bin for the workshop
I got this rusty steel bin for $7. Removed the brass hardware and soaked it in vinegar to reveal the natural finish. Took a wire cup to the steel to remove all the exterior rust, and then 2 rattle-cans of metallic blue paint. It’s a bit banged up which you can see in the reflections, but I’m happy with the way it came out! Shoutout to boltdepot.com for having tiny brass replacement screws, since I broke most of the original ones removing the hardware! submitted by /u/MakitaKruzchev [link] [comments]
