Tack strip on concrete
I'm trying to install tack strips on my basement concrete slab. Got tack strips with 5/8 nails preinstalled and I'm only getting every third one or so in, the others just bend. Very frustrating. Now I went and got a ramset with green loads and 3/4 inch nails. This seems to work a little better, now most of them go in but every so often this thing just shoots my tack strip into pieces and I gotta start over. Why is this so infuriating?
