The anime adaptation of the famed webcomic The Beginning After the End, commonly shortened as TBATE, gets an official release date. The anime's pilot episode will air on April 2, joining the roster for the Spring 2025 anime season. The announcement came with a brand-new trailer, showcasing the anime's art style. It also has a webcomic adaptation, which can be read on Tapas. Tapas also boldly stated that The Beginning After the End will be the first anime adaptation of an American web novel and webcomic. Tapas describes the series: "King Grey has unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability. However, solitude lingers closely behind those with great power.
