The Nike Book 1 "Moss Point" Is Finally Dropping This Month

While not all of them have ended up on retail shelves, we continue to see pairs like this "Moss Point" look release over a year after being unveiled. Nike has just presented its official imagery of the kicks, highlighting the pair as it pays homage to Booker's former high school of Moss Point. A release date of April 18 has been set via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD. Leading up to December launch date, Book has been giving fans a teaser of what to expect. The latest teaser is the Nike Book 1 arriving in a "Moss Point" colorway, a nod to his alma mater, Moss Point High School.The color scheme is inspired by the corner store that Book used to frequent when he attended school. The shoe takes on a similar hue to the Devin Booker x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Moss Point," which was originally released in 2019. Similar to the AF1, his own signature shoe sports a similar subtle cerulean leather upper with a suede gunmetal accents placed at the heel guard. The shades have a pearl finish on the sole. On the metallic heel, embroidered messages read, "Yes Ma'am " and "No Sir," referencing Book's Souther roots. On the heel tag is "96," a nod to his birth year.The Nike Book 1 arriving in the signature vivid orange is scheduled to launch in December as his first release and will only have a limited 500 pair drop. The other colorways including "Moss Point" are slated to arrive sometime next spring.
