If you’re venturing into the cold, hard world of GHOUL://RE, you’re not going to have much fun unless you pick up a Quinque, the main weapon you’ll be using. To make things a bit hard, not all Quinques are created the same. That’s where my GHOUL://RE Quinque tier list comes into play. You’ll be able to get the best gear and prevail in no time, trust me. Yes, this is directed at Kajiri and Yukimura users, since I know I’m going to come under fire. Ginkui and 13’s Jason are leading the charge in S tier, while you won’t find too many issues with the likes of Nutcracker, Aus and other A-tier Quinques. After that, it’s pretty much the Wild West. Even though most of B-tier isn’t all that, I wouldn’t pick Demon Yamada, Serrate or anything from tiers C and D. Still, that’s not an excuse not to have fun! Regardless, let’s take a look at each GHOUL://RE Quinque tier in more detail. S-Tier GHOUL://RE Quinques Screenshot by Destructoid This is what you should be aiming for, but, obviously, the drop chances are a bit problematic. Despite this, I would still advise you to stick through it, because the sheer power you’ll have i simply worth it. Name Drop Chance Info IXA 3% Mark enemies with a thrust and detonate tendrils from below, then move faster than the eye can see to blind and stab them. Swap between relentless melee slashes and ranged tendril strikes, using a shield to reflect attacks or dashing in for a brutal finisher. Ginkui Crafting only This thing is pure carnage—slash, stab, and knock enemies around like they’re nothing. If you’re hungry enough, the tentacles join in, grabbing, biting, and straight-up devouring anything in your way. 13’s Jason 3% Wind back and slice upward, tear through enemies with ruthless slashes, and spin forward, cutting down anyone in your path. If you keep the pressure on, you can drag opponents into even deadlier follow-ups, leaving nothing but carnage behind. SSS Owl Crafting only This thing is all about raw power and speed. You can leap in, swing wide, and send shards flying, rush straight through enemies like they’re nothing, slam the ground to unleash a shockwave, or straight-up teleport behind someone and impale them before they even know what’s happening. A-Tier GHOUL://RE Quinques Screenshot by Destructoid Don’t get me wrong, it’s still more than worth it to snatch an A-tier Quinque such as Nutcracker and Narukami. They’re very close to S-tier in terms of quality and output, it’s just that you won’t get the sheer damage and impact. Name Drop Chance Info Solace Crafting only Burn everything in your path with blue flames. Fire straight at your target, dive in with a flaming blast, or rain down a volley of smaller shots. Kick enemies into the air and torch them mid-flight, or switch between your bow and dagger to keep the fight on your terms. Aus 3% Drive the blade straight through your target or hook them in, dragging them back for a brutal combo that slams them into the ground. Hurl it like a spear, slice through enemies with a boomerang throw, or spin it midair to deflect incoming attacks. Nutcracker 11% Every move feels like setting a trap, only to spring it at the perfect moment. Lunge in to bury the blade, leave it behind like a ticking time bomb, then detonate it to send enemies flying—or trap them in a pulsating cage with no escape. When things get up close, a brutal kick sets them up for a ruthless execution, and if they think they can run, one swing is all it takes to make them explode on the spot. Narukami 3% Charge up with every strike, then unleash delayed lightning impacts or slam the ground to send a current surging through enemies. Swap between slicing through opponents up close or blasting them from a distance with powerful electric bursts, stacking charges to turn every attack into a storm. B-Tier GHOUL://RE Quinques Screenshot by Destructoid I wouldn’t exactly say the B-tier Quinques are worthless, but would you really choose Chi She over IKA and 13’s Jason? Of course, it’s still a matter of preference, nevertheless, you shouldn’t really complain about these too much, but try to get at least an A-tier, ASAP. B-Tier GHOUL://RE Quinques
I wouldn’t exactly say the B-tier Quinques are worthless, but would you really choose Chi She over IKA and 13’s Jason? Of course, it’s still a matter of preference, nevertheless, you shouldn’t really complain about these too much, but try to get at least an A-tier, ASAP.

This is where we get to some questionable choices. Look, for instance, I like Serrate’s versatility and the follow-up hit, but other than that, it’s pretty underwhelming. The same goes for other entries on this part of the GHOUL://RE Quinque tier list—one or two good things, but lots of glaring holes.
Name Drop Chance Info Serrate 11% Fists hit like sledgehammers, chaining strikes into relentless combos that leave no room to breathe. Aerial kicks launch opponents skyward, rapid barrages keep them pinned, and one devastating punch can end it all in an instant. Not bad, huh? Demon Yamada 11% Power surges through each swing, carving through anything unlucky enough to be in range. Strikes flow together seamlessly, building into a brutal finale that either sends enemies flying or crushes them into the ground without mercy. Bokusatsu 11% Brutality in its purest form—swing with bone-crushing force, sending enemies flying with each hit. Spin through anything in your way, slam down with relentless power, or leap in with a devastating strike that could honestly be a bit better.
D-Tier GHOUL://RE Quinques
You know what they say, whenever you think you’ve reached the bottom, there’s a dude incessantly shoveling to get even deeper. In the case of our GHOUL://RE Quinque tier list, that’s the D tier. To be fair, you can have some success and fun with these, but the D stands for Diabolical.
Name Drop Chance Info Yukimura 86% A flash of movement, a blur of steel—by the time they see the blade, it’s already over. Tear through enemies at inhuman speeds, vanishing and reappearing behind them, unleashing relentless slashes that send them flying before they can even react. Doujima 86% Momentum is everything—slam through opponents with bone-shattering force, then keep the pressure on with relentless swings. Charge in with unstoppable speed, carve through enemies in a brutal whirlwind, and finish with a crushing downward strike that leaves nothing but wreckage behind. Scorpion 86% A whirlwind of precision and speed, slicing through anything that dares stand in the way. Dash forward in a blur, hurl deadly daggers mid-air, and chain together rapid slashes that drag enemies into a relentless dance of blades. Kajiri 86% Blades erupt in every direction, turning the battlefield into a storm of flying steel. Flip and fire deadly shards mid-air, slash through opponents before blasting them with a parting shot, and detonate embedded blades for a devastating finale.
