What do I need to do to fix this?
My hot water heater room is accessible only by a door on the backside of the house, 25ft from the nearest exit way from the house. When we have bad storms, water comes into the hot water heater room, and sometimes will come under the wall into the living room. We have concrete floors on most of the downstairs. I need to stop the water from coming into the room in the first place. The threshold in that room is in rough shape, the wood in the threshold being rotted out entirely.
