What is the best wall-mounted canopy range hood venting option for optimal performance and minimal noise?
1) Horizontal vent directly to a 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular duct located behind the hood. 2) Horizontal vent directly to an 8" round duct located behind the hood. 3) Vertical 8" duct with a 90-degree turn to exit through an 8" vent on the back wall, below an 8' ceiling and behind the duct cover. I’m planning to purchase the "Zephyr Siena Wall ZSI-E30DS" (200-650 CFM, 1-6 Sones) wall-mounted range hood and it allows all three options. submitted by /u/ThroughTheNature [link] [comments]
