What would you do with this floor?
If not allowed, please remove. I pulled up this carpet (all glued down) in our basement in our new house because it smelled really bad. Used a floor stripper to take off a top layer of adhesive but not sure what I can do to make it look better. We don't have funds to put new flooring down immediately so want a temp solution like a skim coat. The surface is uneven (2nd pic) I want something thick enough to counter that. A couple of self-leveling concrete coats? Any help much appreciated. submitted by /u/Shockwave2310 [link] [comments]
