Haunted Stairs
Planning on making a hand rail on these stairs and I have no idea where to start. Other than screwing cupboards on walls, I have no experience in carpentry or whatsoever. I thought of sticking some mounting brackets or whatever on the sides (where the red xs' are), then attaching handrails from there, but I have no idea what to buy or if that's even a good idea. I also thought of ground mounting on the stairs itself (where the blue xs' are) but I'm not sure whether these tiles can handle a tile drill bit. my brother slipped and fell last year. I thought of hiring a professional but this household doesn't want strangers on this property anymore (long story) so I thought of doing it myself and whatever happens happen.
