Infamous con artist Anna Delvey made quite a unique statement at New York Fashion Week by unapologetically claiming a front-row seat with her very visible ankle bracelet at Christian Cowan's Fall/Winter 2025 runway show.

Delvey—who became a known name after her elaborate scams targeting New York’s elite were exposed and extrapolated into a Netflix show—has been under house arrest since 2021 following her release from immigration detention. The ankle monitor is part of her conditional release, which restricts her movements but hasn't dimmed her flair for the dramatic. Despite her legal troubles, Delvey seems determined to live out her fashion it-girl dreams, appearing at high-profile events and mingling with industry glitterati, as if still embodying the wealthy character she used to commit fraud. 

At the show, Delvey donned a simple white tank top paired with a high-waisted, floor-length skirt adorned with shimmering fringe that cascaded down to the floor. For accessories, she opted for a black purse, perhaps to complement her jet-black ankle bracelet, which she was clearly unafraid to be photographed in. And this should be no surprise.
