10 best teams to manage in MLB The Show 25 Franchise mode

MLB The Show 25's Franchise mode lets you become the GM of your favorite team, but narrowing down on a choice can be quite hard. After all, there are plenty of factors to consider before you select a franchise. Once your selection is complete, you're locked to it. Every franchise has different strengths and weaknesses; no two experiences are the same. This guide will provide you with the ten best choices for Franchise mode. Top 10 Franchise Mode Save Ideas in MLB The Show 25 The top 10 save ideas list doesn't necessarily mean the ten best squads. This guide is more about my considerations for saving ideas, which will be incredibly fun. The teams on this table will be great ideas for every MLB The Show 25 player type. Team Rank Budget Difficulty scale (out of 5*) Reason why should pick it Los Angeles Dodgers 1 $448,061,000 1 Dodgers have the best squad on paper, with stars spread across every position. It's a great choice for beginners, but you'll have to go for the World Series from get go. Houston Astros 17 $217,500,000 3 The Astros have had plenty of controversies in their recent World Series runs, and that's something you'll want to avoid. The squad has one of the best set of hitters, but you'll have to rebuild the pitchers if winning the World Series is your aim. Los Angeles Angels 24 $230,500,000 4 If you don't like the Dodgers, the Angels might be a fun project. The squad isn't great, but Mike Trout is still there. A fresh project might be what's required to dislodge the Dodgers. New York Yankees 7 $315,940,000 2 While the Yankees are arguably the the most famous MLB franchise of all time, the squad can do with some rebuilding. The first step will be to get in better hitters with decent Contact. New York Mets 3 $365,270,000 1 The Mets are definitely at a better position than the Yankees, and you've a franchise star in the form of Juan Soto. The main area for improvement will be the quality of the pitchers. Boston Red Sox 19 $262,540,000 4 The Red Sox are far from a finished article, and there's massive scope for improvement all around. Things won't be exactly easy as you'll have to reach Postseason to save your job. Chicago White Sox 30 $107,000,000 5 This will be the hardest project to undertake, as the White Sox are the worst team on paper. The yearly objectives, despite being low, will be hard to manage. Then again, it won't be difficult to improve your squad given how poor it is for starters. Oakland Athletics 26 $120,000,000 4 If you loved Moneyball and Brad Pitt, why not try to recreate it on your own? The Athletics aren't in a great shape, and they will need a lot of help if you will want to take them to Postseason and beyond. Colorado Rockies 29 $149,000,000 5 If you're someone who love to build up teams from terrible state, the Rockies are another great option. The team has the worst set of pitchers on paper, and the hitters aren't great either. San Diego Padres 12 $251,000,000 2 A bit of personal bias, but I started following the Padres since Fernando Tatis Jr. became the cover start of a The Show game. A decent side, but there's scope for improvement in both hitting and pitching departments. All these ten teams will throw different challenges, but you can make it harder/easier for you by tweaking the in-game settings. There are nine difficulty levels to master, with the GOAT being the ultimate test. Ultimately, always focus on your Yearly Goal for your franchise, which will be an important parameter for determining whether you've succeeded or failed as a GM.
