a tip for smart home in a rented space
if you are in a rented space, most places wont let you drill a hole for cable routing and doing so out in the open is a tripping hazard get masking tape that matches the walls and run the cables underneath it, run it along corners so there isnt an obvous bulge masking tape is designed to not damage the paint so when you move out just pull it down and you are good to go if masking tape doesnt come in a color close enough, you can paint the masking tape to match (just dont paint the wall) submitted by /u/MovieIndependent4697 [link] [comments]
