Adding new layer of plywood to porch & stairs.
Hi... the craptacular ancient "turf" was falling apart so I'm ripping it off. Since the existing wood wasn't protected, my plan is to sand, prime and paint it. I also purchased some 1/4" thick plywood that I will also prime and paint before I add it as a 2nd layer. My question is: Do I need to add anything in between the layers or will the priming and painting be adequate for keeping them safe from moisture damage?
