All the Celebrity Voice Actors on Quinn, That Viral Audio App
Quinn explores women's sexual pleasure through audio erotica, and A-list actors are on board, from Andrew Scott to Lucien Laviscount.

Quinn is a rather revolutionary app, especially in the context of a world that doesn't prioritize women's pleasure. You may have seen the audio erotica app, which focuses on providing just that, on your "For You" page thanks to its roster of ambassadors and celebrity voice actors like Andrew Scott and Lucien Laviscount.
The app has content creators of its own, otherwise known as audio creators. According to Fast Company, Quinn's hiring process ensures that the app's content stays within its guidelines and policies, creating a safe environment for listeners and avoiding disturbing topics like incest or sexual violence. This process includes audio creators auditioning and completing background checks before they are allowed to post stories, which the app's moderators vet before they're available to listeners.
Since its inception in 2019, Quinn has gained significant attention, especially since it launched what they call "Quinn Originals," exclusive spicy audio stories narrated by a star-studded cast. Quinn released seven of these stories since September 2023, with handfuls of Hollywood celebrities participating in the audio erotica platform: Emily in Paris' Laviscount stars in The Regent, Gossip Girl's Thomas Doherty stars in The Inventor's Apprentice, Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams stars in The Misty Door, The Haunting of Hill House's Victoria Pedretti stars in Compromised, The L Word's Katherine Moennig stars in Amplified, Fleabag's Andrew Scott stars in The Queen's Guard, and, most recently, Stranger Things' Jamie Campbell Bower stars in The Trials.
Quinn was founded by Caroline Spiegel in 2019 during her senior year at Stanford University. Spiegel, the sister of Snapchat founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, found the market to be lacking a focus on female pleasure, so she created her own platform of audio erotica aimed at satisfying women's desires instead of them being the object of desire as porn has traditionally portrayed them.
In an interview with Gotham Magazine in 2022, Spiegel discussed how her app contributes to female pleasure and doesn't hypersexualize women from a misogynistic point of view. This is women exploring their sexuality through the female gaze, she explained. "Quinn is somewhere in the middle—like an audio romance novel condensed into 15 minutes and designed to make you orgasm. It focuses on imagination and the nonphysical, mental aspects of sex," Spiegel said.
Quinn's "Originals" and celebrity-voiced content has helped catapult the app to new heights. In the same 2024 article mentioned above, Fast Company reported that as of August 2024, Quinn had accrued $11 million in annual revenue. "Originals" stories are the platform's top-performing content, and when a new audio is announced, subscriptions tend to triple in the month that it releases. Stranger Things' Bower joining the platform as a featured voice actor is only the latest. We're keeping our eyes out for more celebrity voice actors on Quinn soon.
