Batman: The Killing Joke Deluxe Edition Is on Sale
Originally released in 1988, comics auteur Alan Moore, known for other graphic novel titans like Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and Swamp Thing, took Batman to new heights and created what we called "easily the greatest Joker story ever told". This hardcover deluxe edition is well worth its super low price tag. It comes with a slip cover with the iconic shot of Joker and his camera, beautifully recolored art by Brian Bolland, extra stories from Batman: Black and White #4 and Countdown #31, and a bunch of great illustrations and concept art from Bolland.
Other Comics Included in the Sale
The comic book and graphic novel section of Amazon's buy one, get one half off sale is unfortunately sparse, but there are still some great inclusions from both Batman and Marvel worth checking out. Tom King's Batman Rebirth arc is one of the best in recent memory and introduces a pair of complicated anti-heroes the Dark Knight must contend with. You can also pick up a couple of Marvel Premier Collection trade paperbacks, such as Frank Miller's Daredevil: Born Again just in time to get up to speed with the Disney+ series of the same name.
