Attaching a Dock to bedrock
I'm going to be replacing my dock. It's not a floating dock. It's 50ft long and around 11ft deep. I was thinking of drilling holes for some 1/2" threaded rod into the bedrock and then lagging a piece of 3/16" angle iron onto the bedrock and put the "ledger" board on that, and build from there. Does this seem like a good idea? I'm just not sure how else to attach it that will last. submitted by /u/richbuss [link] [comments]
