I made a mess trying to rip the old thru wall AC out. Please help
I bought my home two years ago and it came with an old 10,500 BTU AC. It worked so I used it. Well it finally crapped the bed. I bought a new AC and can not get this old beast out. I removed the trim around it thinking maybe there’s a bracket somewhere. There was some caulking around it on the inside and outside and I cut all of that. I’m able to wiggle it but doesn’t budge. I know some have a sleeve but I don’t think this has one. Whatever I destroy wall wise I will of course fix. …..no I didn’t use the metal bet….yet anyway. submitted by /u/Impressive-Young-952 [link] [comments]
