Best way to weatherproof this plastic horse?
This is a painted plastic horse that I would like to put outside as the centerpiece of a circular flower bed, so I'm looking for some way to give it a water-resistant, anti-UV coating to keep it looking as-is. The products I'm seeing tend to not mention plastic in the "for use on" disclaimer, and the fact that it's painted is perhaps a further complication. I will be putting some kind of umbrella on the top of the pole so that it gets a fair -- but obviously not complete -- amount of rain protection. I don't know specifically what kind of paint was used or the specific type of plastic -- in spots where the paint has worn away, the plastic appears to be a milky white color.
