Can I remove and relocate these studs?
Renovating a 1906 brownstone and I have some structural questions. Can I remove the studs in red and relocate a stud in yellow? photos A and B are taken left to right, respectively. You can see the studs sitting below a small girder (2x2)?? And that is sitting below the roof joists in green. It doesn’t seem structurally supporting the roof joists in my opinion due to the size of that girder. Thoughts?
