Adding a JetBlue credit card to your wallet could be a great idea for frequent JetBlue flyers — or even occasional patrons looking to boost their experience with the airline.
JetBlue TrueBlue, the carrier’s loyalty program, earns TrueBlue points you can redeem for flights to one of its destinations across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, South America and Europe. TrueBlue points can also be used toward seats in its swanky JetBlue Mint class.
Holding one of JetBlue’s cobranded credit cards allows you to earn more TrueBlue points and work toward the airline’s Mosaic elite status, which can be leveraged for more perks on board.
Currently, these cards are offering good welcome bonuses for new cardholders to collect a swath of points upfront.
Here’s what to know about these current offers to help you decide if a JetBlue card is a good choice for you.

JetBlue Card
The JetBlue Card is the airline’s entry-level option with no annual fee.
Current welcome offer
New JetBlue Card applicants can earn 10,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first 90 days.
With TPG’s March 2025 valuation of JetBlue TrueBlue points at 1.35 cents per point, this welcome bonus is worth $135.
This welcome bonus is quite small, even for a no-annual-fee airline card. When it comes to welcome offers, there are much better options out there.
That said, this is one of the easiest welcome bonuses to earn. Most people can naturally spend $1,000 in 30 days, let alone 90.
Additional benefits
While you shouldn’t expect a card with no annual fee to have a long list of benefits, there are a couple of perks worth pointing out.
When you pay with the JetBlue Card, you’ll receive a 50% discount on inflight food-and-beverage purchases. Plus, you won’t be charged foreign transaction fees when traveling abroad.
When it comes to earning rates, you’ll receive:
- 3 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases with JetBlue and through Paisly, JetBlue’s travel portal
- 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants and eligible grocery stores
- 1 point per dollar spent on everything else
There are better cards out there for these bonus categories, but it could be nice to earn TrueBlue points on everyday purchases without paying an annual fee.

JetBlue Plus Card
The JetBlue Plus Card offers mid-tier perks and benefits for frequent flyers and comes with a modest $99 annual fee.
Current welcome offer
Earn 70,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee within the first 90 days.
Per TPG’s March 2025 valuations, this welcome bonus for the JetBlue Plus Card is worth $945.
While this isn’t the best offer we’ve seen on this card, it still provides strong value for a modest $99 annual fee. Plus, since you’ll receive 10% of your points back when you redeem for a JetBlue-operated flight, you can stretch your welcome bonus further.
Additional benefits
The JetBlue Plus provides a host of benefits to its cardholders.
On top of the 50% savings on eligible inflight purchases, you’ll also receive your first checked bag free for you and up to three travel companions. Plus, you’ll receive 5,000 bonus points each year after your card anniversary. These points are worth about $68, per TPG’s valuations.
You can also spend your way to Mosaic elite status. You’ll earn status after spending $50,000 in a calendar year.
The JetBlue Plus Card also comes with a $100 statement credit after purchasing a JetBlue Vacations package worth at least $100 with your card. You can receive this statement credit once a year.
Finally, this card does not charge foreign transaction fees.
When it comes to earning rates, you’ll receive:
- 6 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases with JetBlue and Paisly
- 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants and eligible grocery stores
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases

JetBlue Premier Card
A premium option for JetBlue devotees, the JetBlue Premier Card has the highest annual fee of the group.
Current welcome offer
New JetBlue Premier Card applicants earn 70,000 bonus points plus 5 Tiles toward Mosaic status after spending $5,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee within the first 90 days.
The points included in this welcome offer are worth $945, per TPG’s March 2025 valuations.
As mentioned above, in addition to earning bonus points, you’ll receive 5 Tiles toward elite status with JetBlue as part of this welcome bonus. That said, the JetBlue Plus Card earns 1 Tile for every $1,000 spent, so you’re not earning any extra Tiles with this welcome bonus compared to what you’d earn with regular spending.
This welcome offer is underwhelming in light of the JetBlue Premier Card’s $499 annual fee. Note that you won’t be eligible for this offer if you have or previously had the JetBlue Plus Card.
Additional benefits
Since the JetBlue Premier Card charges a hefty annual fee, you can expect more perks to go with it.
For one, you’ll receive a Priority Pass Select membership, which grants access to more than 1,700 lounges worldwide. Plus, you’ll receive complimentary access to JetBlue’s planned lounge spaces once they open.
Cardholders will also receive up to $120 as a statement credit for a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application every four years.
The card also comes with up to $300 in statement credits for purchases made through Paisly. Note that this statement credit is granted in $50 increments, and you can only receive the credit after spending $250 or more through Paisly. You can earn this $50 statement credit six times in a calendar year; however, it is difficult to maximize.
JetBlue Premier Card holders will also receive 5,000 bonus points after each account anniversary, 10% of your points back when you book JetBlue-operated flights, a 50% discount on eligible inflight purchases and your first checked bag free. The card also comes with priority boarding on JetBlue flights. These are all perks that come with the cheaper JetBlue cards as well.
The earning rates on the JetBlue Premier Card are the same as the JetBlue Plus Card:
- 6 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases with JetBlue and Paisly
- 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants and eligible grocery stores
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
Due to the lack of meaningful perks that justify its $499 annual fee, we generally recommend going with the JetBlue Plus Card or the JetBlue Business Card instead if you’re a frequent JetBlue flyer.

JetBlue Business Card
The JetBlue Business Card is a solid option for business owners who are loyal to the carrier.
Current welcome offer
With the JetBlue Business Card, you can earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee within the first 90 days.
This welcome bonus is worth $675 when taking TPG’s March 2025 valuations into account.
This is a solid haul for a $99 annual fee. However, it is less than the 70,000 points offered by the JetBlue Plus Card, which is a personal card available for the same annual fee.
Additional benefits
The JetBlue Business Card comes with benefits that mirror the carrier’s personal card options. You’ll earn 5,000 bonus points each year after your account anniversary, receive a first checked bag free, get priority boarding on JetBlue-operated flights, receive 50% savings on eligible inflight purchases and enjoy a 10% rebate on points redemptions for JetBlue-operated flights.
The earning rates on this card are similar to JetBlue’s other cobranded cards, but it subs in a business-oriented category for grocery stores. The categories are as follows:
- 6 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases with JetBlue and Paisly
- 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants and office supply stores
- 1 point per dollar spent on everything else
The main deciding factor between this card and the JetBlue Plus Card will likely be what categories you spend in most frequently.

Bottom line
These welcome bonuses are mainly useful if you fly JetBlue and can get value from an airline credit card.
Since these cards come in at various annual fee thresholds, be sure you’ll maximize the benefits offered by the card you select. While the JetBlue Premier is the “premium” option in terms of the number of perks offered, some may find that the lower-annual-fee JetBlue Plus actually packs in more value.
We recommend you do the math for your own situation to see if one of the JetBlue cards might be a good fit for you.
