DIY gas and electrical
Hey all, I’m putting in a pool I need to run gas and electricity. How does this look so far? Trench is 32-33 inch wide, 24 inch deep. 1 1/4 gas run, and uf-b w/G 8-3 direct burial wire wet rated. Minimum 16 inch separation, pavers acting as separator. I know that you need a minimum of 12 inches separation between gas and electricity if they’re in the same trench, so I went super wide and I’ve got plenty of space between and I’m also using a non-combustible separator in between. I’m thinking of also throwing in a 2 x 8 pressure treated wood on top of sand prior to the backfill. Is there anything I should change before I backfill?
