Everything to Know About 'The Four Seasons' TV Show With Tina Fey, Colman Domingo
Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, and Steve Carell star in Netflix's newest comedy, The Four Seasons.

Missing your fix now that The White Lotus, Severance, and Yellowjackets are on hiatus? Netflix’s newest series The Four Seasons—a comedy created by Tina Fey—might be your next summer binge. Based on the 1981 film of the same name, the show gives a modern spin to the original premise while preserving its humor and emotional core. With a stacked cast that includes Tina Fey and Steve Carell, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about comedies of the season.
The original The Four Seasons (1981), directed by and starring Alan Alda, follows three middle-aged couples who vacation together regularly. When one couple announces their divorce, it sends shockwaves through the group. Set across four seasonal getaways, the film explores the complexities of long-term friendships and relationships.
L'OFFICIEL has the lowdown on everything you need to know about the new star-studded show.
The Four Seasons Plot
The story begins when six longtime friends head out for what’s supposed to be a relaxing group getaway. But when one couple announces they’re breaking up, the entire group dynamic implodes. The couples—Kate and Jack, Nick and Anne, and Danny and Claude—are suddenly forced to reflect on their own relationships. What follows is a year’s worth of seasonal vacations, each one revealing new conflicts.
At its core, The Four Seasons is about the fragile foundation of even the closest friendships and the emotional messiness of long-term love—but don't worry, you can still expect plenty of funny, comedic moments along the way.
The Four Seasons Cast
Leading the ensemble is Tina Fey, who also serves as co-creator, playing the role of Kate. She’s joined by fellow comedy icon Steve Carell as Nick, marking an exciting reunion for the two. Will Forte brings his iconic repertoire as Jack, while Kerri Kenney-Silver (Reno 911!) steps in as Anne.
Rounding out the cast are Emmy winner Colman Domingo as Danny and Marco Calvani as Claude.
