Fence post snapped. Correct way to fix?

As the video shows my fence post snapped and its just leaning on at the moment. https://imgur.com/a/WE6bVBF I am thinking of getting something like this https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-2-38-in-x-7-ft-16-Gauge-Galvanized-Steel-Chain-Link-Fence-Corner-Post-328943DPTSEB/312373063#overlay and bury it 2ft in the ground and affix it to wooden fence post using brackets like these: https://www.amazon.com/Fence-Bracket-Brackets-Galvanized-Repair/dp/B0D3HCMNMQ?gQT=1 when using the brackets, I don't need to drill pilot holes right? Maybe should I use two of the steel posts? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/555VS66 [link] [comments]
