Help - Mounting Porch Cross Beam
Probably a dumb question, but it's my first exterior alteration and I don't think I even know the right vocabulary to google... I'd like to mount a 10' 4x4 beam between two existing porch supports for hanging plants, a sun screen, etc. Would it be as easy as just bolting in a couple diagonal braces at the ends?
