How do i install a stacking dryer in this cramped space?
My stacking washer/ dryer is in a very cramped space that I cannot access the back of. It is basically a little nook and I also have very little space in front of it. I needed to take the dryer down to replace the heating element since it burned out. The dryer was connected with a semi rigid hose but when i brought the dryer down it disconnected and I don't really understand how it was hooked up initially since the hose was not long enough to connect to the dryer when the dryer is resting on the ground. I replaced the heating element but I am trying to figure out the best way to hook up the dryer to the vent. Do I use a longer semi rigid hose again where I can hook it up while the dryer is on the ground, then lift it onto the washer and push it back? Do I need to get something to rest it on that is as high as the washing machine so I can hook it up then slide it back? Or is there a better way to do this? Pics below. The vent on the dryer is in the bottom/ middle. The vent to the outside is on the right wall. https://imgur.com/a/B96O9Nw submitted by /u/madkapitolist [link] [comments]
