With a few more movements expected before the start of the new season, you can make all the updates on your own with a few simple steps. In case MLB The Show 25 is your first entry to the series, just continue following the steps mentioned in this guide. Open the game and go to the main screen. You'll see a paintbrush icon at the top right. Click on it and select the second option, "Roster Control." Select Roster Control once again. It will open up the full set of teams available inside the game. You can edit MLB, AAA, and AA team squads (as shown in the screenshot). Lineups allow you to customize the starting squad and bench options. Pitching Rotation allows you to edit the bullpen. If you want to promote, demote, or import an athlete from a team, choose Manage Roster/Import Player. Once you are done with all your changes, make sure to save them to create a customized roster. Once the changes have been saved, you can load it to play with the customized roster (just like "Roster" in the following screenshot).
