It's the only way you're able to progress in the game at this point. This quest takes place in the Trosky region after the wedding when you're taken to the castle. First, you'll have to find Thomas, which is already a tough task. Then you'll have to cure him of his infection. So here's how to do that. How to find Captain Thomas in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 In your pursuit of Captain Thomas, you'll have to interact with the blacksmith after you've carried the sacks of charcoal. When you talk with him, you'll be tasked with crafting a horseshoe, which gives you access to the blacksmith's area. From the table, go left, take the stairs, and go up to the entrance. You'll find two doors; enter the one on the right. Make sure you're well hidden in the area. Once you're inside the door on the right, climb the stairs. Open the door on your left (green-colored and hard to miss), continue down the hallway, and exit the room. Here, I encountered a guard, so make sure to crouch and hide properly. There are plenty of guards and they do patrol, so watch your step. You'll soon find another guard blocking your path. Just use a rock to lure him away from the stairs, and your path will be open. Head up and climb to the upper room. In this room, you'll meet Thomas and Adela. Speak with Adela to convince her that you're there to help. Go back to the blacksmith area and look to the opposite side. You'll find a door under a set of stairs and a basket with some trout in them. Grab a few, for you're going to need them pretty soon. Climb the stairs to the upper floor, and you'll meet a guard. Hand him the Dried Trout, and you should be good. Be careful as you proceed, as there are more guards, and not all of them want a trout. Once you reach the side hallway, hide from the patrolling guard. Next, take the set of stairs and open the door, and you'll be led to a small hallway with two doors. Pick the door on your right, and you'll find an alchemist's bench inside. You'll also find a lady you'll have to talk to, and you'll find a chest. At this stage, you'll need a lockpick, which you can get by talking to the distressed lady near the smithy and then to the blacksmith. Once you open the chest, you'll find a few items. Make sure to collect them. You'll also find a book on the shelf in this room, which will give you the recipe for Fever Tonic. You'll have to brew this potion to cure Thomas. Take the wine from the shelf and add it to the cauldron. Add three quantities of Feverfew, and boil the cauldron for two turns. Add one quantity of Elderberry Leaves and grind before adding it to the cauldron. Next, add two quantities of Ginger and boil the mixture. Once your potion is ready, take a vial and pour the mixture inside it. Go back to Thomas with the medicine, and a cutscene will start, and you're done.
