Defense: Play together with your Pokémon, explore, and catch Pokémon while they are your buddy. HP: Explore alongside your trainee with your buddy, spin PokéStops, earn Candy, etc Once you use a Gold Bottle Cap, you have 365 days to complete your Hyper Training tasks to max out that stat. Gold Bottle Caps are extremely rare, and currently the only way to get one is to earn it in the new GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered event from June 23 to 29. You need to have the paid pass to get the Gold Bottle Cap. Gold Bottle Caps will also expire after a set period, with the first one expiring on July 6. So you can't hold onto them and use them at a later date. You can only increase one statistic as well, which feels pretty harsh considering trainers might need to unlock multiple stats to get a hundo.
