I installed a Chinses diesel heater in my workshop

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my DIY to installing a diesel parking heater in my small workshop, and hopefully help others who are considering doing the same.–just a happy guy who loves DIY and need a way to stay warm while working. Firstly, I bought a Chinese diesel heater LF Bros 5kW N2 last year, I watched many video on Youtube, finally choose this model, truth is Im right! Now I’m here to share the experience how I install the diesel heater. What I did? Following the instruction, the pipe, muffler, filter, air intake&outlet....steps seems easy, It’s really a challenge to make sure every details right on the angle of pump, exhaust pipe, and the location. Overall installation was pretty straightforward, just remember keep the oil pump in 15-30°, don’t be horizon in case bubbles in oil pipe effect the engine. And the exhaust pipe works to release the condensation produced by diesel heater, keep it in right angle to avoid buildup. Being a bit long-winded, the air intake can’t be blocked, otherwise the engine will be overheating. Heater fired up right away. It seems normal to smell diesel for the first run or two, but it had me worried. Now it runs clean. It actually heats my 20m²workshop pretty fast with LF, better than expected! It’s funny process to mount this Chinese diesel heater. HAHA, what a mess in my workshop! I share you the picture of accessories from manufacturer. First time to share, cheers! submitted by /u/Full_Rise8127 [link] [comments]
