Confused, your character will return to Alice, wrapping up Disney Dreamlight Valley's Leaving Wonderland quest. Leaving Wonderland quest walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley mushrooms found during the Leaving Wonderland quest

Disaster struck Disney Dreamlight Valley's Alice in Wonderland Realm. Alice saved some critters from being held captive by the Queen of Hearts, but this has now resulted in a messy garden. Scared to feel the queen's wrath, Alice asks you to help her tidy up the garden.

While things start off easy during the Leaving Wonderland quest, it'll quickly become challenging when you face a certain puzzle. Fortunately, as the name suggests, this mission leads to some fun outside the realm for you and Alice.

Paint the roses red in the Queen of Hearts' garden

After Alice briefly panics over the mess in the Queen of Hearts' garden, you'll both compose yourself and think of a way to clean the area up. She'll give you a pot of red paint, which you can use to upgrade your Royal Watering Can and turn it into a makeshift painting device.

With your upgraded watering can on hand, run around the garden and water any trees that have white roses along their surface. There are five total, which you'll primarily spot in the same areas you found the Queen's games during the Teeny, Tiny Problems quest. Water all five trees to move on to your next cleaning task.

Remove burrow holes and clean up broken plates

Our cleaning isn't over yet. As you ran around watering rose trees, you may have noticed strange holes in the ground and some colorful broken plates. Your next task is to clean these up using your Royal Shovel and hands. You'll spot the burrow holes in the garden's center and the broken plates near the tea table.

With that said and done, Alice will be thrilled that you helped her, telling you the garden looks better than ever before. The two of you decide to celebrate by visiting Dreamlight Valley. However, the two of you realize that you don't know how to return to the village, prompting you both to talk to the Cheshire Cat about the situation.

Light the correct combination of glowing mushrooms

After returning to the forest, you and Alice will chat with the Cheshire Cat. Unsurprisingly, he'll speak in riddles as usual, mentioning that he could see any potential nearby doors or rabbit holes if he could "see better with the proper fungi light to illuminate [his] thoughts." What's surprising about this exchange, though, is that Alice knows exactly what he's talking about, revealing a crucial hint that the two of them will "each enjoy a color."

Following Alice back to the realm entrance, you'll notice four colored mushrooms near the crafting bench and campfire. Although there are four options, you'll only want to activate the pink and blue mushrooms to represent Alice and the Cheshire Cat. Alice has a blue dress, and the Cheshire Cat is pink.

Returning to Dreamlight Valley

Now that you've solved the glowing mushroom puzzle, you'll find the same ream door you saw in Dream Castle when you first began the Alice Realm's questline. Although the door is tiny, you now have a solution for it: the Contrary Potion from the previous mission. Water the exit using your watering can to enlarge it, letting you and Alice return to Dreamlight Valley.

Upon stepping back into the Alice in Wonderland Realm, you'll find the Cheshire Cat at his usual red tree. He's not opposed to joining, but he'll disappear once your character closes their eyes. Rather than having a cat in your village, you'll have glowing pink paw prints on the floor leading to Dreamlight Valley.

As you follow the paw prints through the forest, you'll arrive at the realm door, prompting you to venture back out into the village. The prints will trail down Dream Castle's right staircase, eventually vanishing completely. Confused, your character will return to Alice, wrapping up Disney Dreamlight Valley's Leaving Wonderland quest.
