After losing a match to DarkZero Esports yesterday, M80’s Head Coach and Team Manager allegedly got into an altercation that has led Ubisoft to remove them from the Six Invitational 2025.

On X (formerly Twitter), the Rainbow Six Siege esports account informed fans that an investigation had resulted in M80 Coach Matheus ‘Budega‘ Figueiredo and Team Manager Igor ‘Vivas‘ Vivas being “ejected” from the tournament.

It’s being said that Budega approached DarkZero Esports after M80 lost 2-1, likely about Ubisoft giving the Round 4 win to DarkZero after ruling M80 broke some rules following multiple warnings.

His yelling can be heard in the background of an interview with DarkZero coach Ryan ‘KangruKenny’ Morrow after the win. The livestream also caught Budega approaching the team after the loss.

Coach Budega confirmed after the incident that he was indeed given two warnings, but this tweet has since been deleted.

M80’s team manager Vivas denied that it went any further than words.

He tweeted: “A member of BLAST’s staff is making false accusations about me, saying that I physically intimidated him. That’s a lie and the fact that someone has the courage to lie about that makes me sick.

“I shouted things amid the heat of the moment that could have been avoided like, ‘Whoever made that decision should be fired’, but I never touched anyone and my conscience is clean, I still have chances for my ‘ban’ to be reverted.”

M80 itself has not released a statement regarding the incident, but the organisation retweeted CEO Marco Mereu’s statement apologising to “players, fans, Ubisoft, and DarkZero Esports” for what transpired, adding that he’s “ashamed.”

Its players have also responded to Ubisoft’s decision. Also on X, Leonardo ‘kyno’ Figueiredo said he and his teammates all talked after the incident and wanted to assure fans that they are “not letting this affect” their Lower Bracket run.

M80’s next match is against CAG Osaka. Another coach will be subbing in for the remainder of the Six Invitational.
