The hunt for the perfect everyday bag is no easy feat. It needs to be timeless, and durable while also carrying well, and blending into a full wardrobe. Marc Jacobs understands just that. The brand's newest bag, dubbed the Dual is perfect for everyday wear. Emily Ratajowski, a New York City street style emblem, is the face of the new purse's campaign.
The fold-over bag has already become a staple for tastemakers (like Tracee Ellis Ross and Lisa Rinna) who wore it at the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2025 show. The Dual is made from Italian leather is available in three different sizes, which makes it the perfect pick for a daytime tote or nighttime clutch. The large version retails for $495, while the mini costs $350. For a more festive finish, some of its different designs feature sequins, embellishments, and, of course, the signature Marc Jacobs Daisy motif. The campaign was lensed by NY-based duo Mat+Kat.
Jermaine Daley styled Ratajowski, who wears both denim and a mini-dress in the campaign. She serves as a how-to for styling the Dual. However, this versatile bag is likely to meld well into many outfits for day or nighttime wear. The Dual is a part of the label's Spring 2025 MarcWorld campaign, as the designer has been pushing boundaries on the runway, and finding commercial success at the same time.
The Dual comes after a long line of commercially successful Marc Jacobs bags. Whether it's a duffle, tote, bucket, or mini, a Marc Jacobs purse is a closet staple. This little (or big or medium) black bag is akin to a little black dress, in it being a fashion necessity.
