Paver pathway slope required or is 3/8 pebble sufficient for drainage?
I have a 22 ft path between my driveway and my backyard. I’m making a paver path and I will be using 3/8 pebbles as my base on top of the compacted soil. I’m wondering if a slope is mandatory, if I were to slope it at 2% one side would be 5.5 inches higher than the other side. Here’s where my issue comes in, both sides of the path are level with each other. My question in short is, is 3 inches of 3/8 pebble enough for drainage or is the slope a must have?
