Rotted wooden yoke restoration
I'm planning to restore this old yoke that has been laying around for years as an art piece for my wall. The inside looks pretty rotted out from bug and fungus damage but the outside looks reasonable. What's the best way to harden and fill the rotted inner cavity? I don't need it to be perfect, just strong enough that it doesn't snap in half when it's hanging from my wall. I also don't really want to have to go in there to dig out all the existing rotten bits, would prefer something that can penetrate and harden the existing stuff and maybe some filler to solidify the cavity where the rot has already fallen out. Since it's all internal, it doesn't need to look good or match the color well. Budget friendly options appreciated, but I'll entertain more expensive fixes if they're easier or will last longer.
