'The White Lotus' Season 3: Cast, Plot, Trailer, Release Date
'The White Lotus' creator Mike White has hinted that season three will explore "death and eastern religion.”

This article contains White Lotus spoilers.
Long before our Italian sojourn was over, it was already time to start thinking about our next stay at The White Lotus. Mike White’s addictive, critically-acclaimed HBO show The White Lotus only aired three of the seven episodes in its second season before being renewed for a third.
Like its previous seasons, the third installment of The White Lotus follows a new group of guests checking into a White Lotus resort in a new, luxury locale — this time in Thailand. Season 1, which starred Jennifer Coolidge, Sydney Sweeney, Jake Lacey, and Lukas Gage, followed a group of criminally bizarre high-rollers visiting Hawaii, while Season 2, which featured Coolidge, Aubrey Plaza, Michael Imperioli, and Meghann Fahy followed the escapades of the wealthy in Sicily.
The Season 3 pickup came after The White Lotus won 10 Emmys in 2024 — the most of any program of the year. Needless to say, expectations were high for the new season.
The third installment of the anthology series premiered on Feb. 16. Whether you haven’t been keeping up with the season, or you’re interested to learn more about the actors behind the characters, read on for everything you need to know about The White Lotus Season 3 cast.
Who Is In White Lotus Season 3?
Like previous seasons, the cast features an eclectic mix of storied character actors and young up-and-comers, and follows the lives of several groups and families as they navigate their weeklong getaways.
Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, and Patrick Schwarzenegger make up the Ratliffs, a family of five visiting from Durham, North Carolina. Timothy (played by Isaacs) is a wealthy financier facing hard financial times, and Posey plays his Lorazepam-dependent wife Victoria. Their eldest son, Saxon, (Schwarzenegger) is a protein-loving gym bro, while middle child Piper (Hook) has taken an interest in Buddhism after studying religion in college. Their youngest, Lochlan (Nivola), is a high school senior trying to break out of his shell.
Isaacs is best-known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, while Posey has appeared in a number of independent films, including Dazed and Confused, Party Girl, Clockwatchers, and more. As the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, Patrick Schwarzenegger has several TV and film credits to his name, appearing in The Staircase, American Sports Story, and more. At just 21 years old, Nivola has already appeared in such films as White Noise, Eileen, and Maestro, while Hook played Caroline Merteuil in the 2024 Cruel Intentions TV series.
Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Monaghan play a group of longtime friends who have reunited for a girl’s trip. Bibb plays Kate Bohr, a married housewife with questionable political beliefs, while Coon plays divorcée and single mom Laurie Duffy. Monaghan plays Jaclyn Lemon, a famous TV actress who pays for the whole trip.
Coon continues to be an HBO mainstay, having appeared on such shows as The Leftovers and The Gilded Age.
Monaghan is best-known for her work in the Mission: Impossible franchise, while Bibb has appeared in a slew of projects over the years, including Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Iron Man, and Juror #2.
Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood play Rick Hatchett and Chelsea, an unlikely couple vacationing in Thailand. Goggins has starred in such TV series as The Shield, Justified, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones, while Wood is best-known for her role as Aimee Gibbs in the Netflix original series Sex Education.
At the resort, Chelsea meets Chloe (played by Charlotte Le Bon), who introduces her to her older boyfriend, Gary. As a French-Canadian actress, Le Bon has appeared in several international films, including Mood Indigo, Arctic Heart, and Iris.
Much like Seasons 1 and 2, the show follows a number of White Lotus employees as well. Christian Friedel plays Fabian, the general manager of the White Lotus, while Lek Patravadi and Scott Glenn play Jim and Sritala Hollinger, co-owners of the hotel.
Most notably, Friedel played Rudolf Höss in the 2023 film, The Zone Of Interest.
Arnas Fedaravičius plays Valentin, a health mentor from Russia, Dom Hetrakul plays wellness expert Pornchai, Shalini Peiris plays meditation counselor Amrita, and Morgana O’Reilly plays Pam, an on-staff advisor for the Ratliff family.
BLACKPINK superstar Lisa plays Thidapon “Mook” Sornsin, a health mentor, and Tayme Thapthimthong plays Gaitok, a security guard at the hotel who is sweet on Mook.
After conquering the music scene, this is Lisa’s first-ever major acting gig.
Of course, it wouldn’t be The White Lotus without some A-list cameos. Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell plays Frank, Rick’s friend and former associate. (Rockwell also happens to be Leslie Bibb’s partner of nearly 20 years.)
The show also features an Academy Award-winning cameo from Ke Huy Quan, who plays the voice of Kenny, Tim Ratliff’s colleague.
Who Came Back From White Lotus Season 3?
The White Lotus is known for bringing back old characters, and Season 3 is no different. In this season, Natasha Rothwell reprises her role of Belinda Lindsey, a spa manager visiting to learn more about the wellness practices in Thailand. Her son Zion (played by Nicholas Duvernay) comes to visit half-way through the season.
Greg Hunt, Tanya McQuoid’s widow played by Jon Gries, also makes his return — sort of. After being wanted for questioning regarding the mysterious circumstances surrounding his wife’s untimely death, Hunt flees to Thailand and changes his name to Gary. There, he meets Chloe, his current (and much younger) girlfriend.
Is Jennifer Coolidge In White Lotus Season 3?
Coolidge was one of two cast members from Season 1 to reprise her role in Season 2, playing McQuoid, the effortlessly charming, out-of-touch, prone to emotional outbursts socialite. The other was Gries, who played McQuoid’s secretive Bureau of Land Management employee lover. Coolidge does not reprise her role for Season 3, however, as her character died in the Season 2 finale.
