Water in crawl space
Hello everyone, I'm pretty sure I'm getting taken for a ride so I want to check here first. I have a crawlspace house, the issue is in a small section about 3 feet wide by 5 feet next to a foundation wall after a really big storm I get about 1-2 inches of water. The water will eventually soak into the ground after about a week and the humidity in the crawl space is at 50%. The wall that the water is getting in from has no gutters so that's the first step along with piping to get the water as far away from the house as possible. Now the foundation company that came by says that won't fix it and I need to spend 9k to install a full sump pump system along my entire foundation which seems unnecessary for such small amount of water. Any thoughts. submitted by /u/domainmaker [link] [comments]
