Wood rot, am I fucked?
A while back a peziza-type fungi appeared in the corner of my bathroom, guaranteed moisture problem. Turns out there was a pinhole leak in one of the pipes. I replaced the pipe, removed the wet particle board (previous owner reno) and left the dehumidifier to do its thing. For whatever reason at the time I didn't think to check the subfloor or joists, finally got around to doing that this evening and I just about shit a brick. There's rot for sure, wet or dry I have no idea but the mycelium is clearly visible. The joist also has similar with what I assume is staining from prolonged water exposure. This is my worst nightmare in an older property, what are my options? submitted by /u/voloinore [link] [comments]
