Rektech, in conjunction with Abstract Chain, has kicked off its five-day competition — The Abstract Games.
As announced, The Abstract Games will be a series of daily community-wide games with a bounty of prizes.
This follows the end of Rektech Szn 1, called the Penguin Season, in April, where players participated in games and win prizes.
The 5-Day Gaming Challenge
The Abstract Games kicked off yesterday and will run through to May 9th. According to the organisers, the event will feature a series of daily challenges to keep players in a controlled and transparent gaming environment.
Additionally, Abstract Chain announced that only holders of a unique Entry Ticket can participate in the event. The ticket minting window spanned from Friday, April 25th to Monday, May 5t.
At the time of the report, the ticket was priced at $20 (0.012 ETH), and it works on a ticket-per-wallet basis.
An Expansion Of Operations
Rektech was founded in 2019, originally operating as a WordPress development firm. As part of its recent expansion into the blockchain gaming sector, the company has launched The Abstract Games, a 5-day event hosted on the Abstract Chain.
In preparation for the event, RekTech distributed 15 free passes to select users. According to Abstract Chain data, 9,562 participants have minted Entry Tickets. The event will feature four daily challenges, and the prize pool is currently over $80,000.
