The XLG Runner was introduced to select markets towards the end of 2024, offering a layered build that some have compared to Balenciaga's lifestyle footwear -- namely the 3XL and Track Sneakers.This initial look at the XLG Runner Mule sees it presented in a versatile "Grey Four/Core Black." This combination of black and various greys is present throughout the sneaker, with subtle Three Stripes branding located at the lateral midfoot, collar, toe and sockliner. Looking closer at what the new silhouette has to offer, the XLG Runner's tongue and lacing system have been replaced by a smooth upper that has also seen the collar lowered for ease of access. As for the bulbous sole unit, its original tooling remains in tact.At the time of writing, adidas has not yet announced when the XLG Runner Mule will be initially landing on shelves.
