Best ways to level up Tattoo skill in The Sims 4

Tattooing is a skill that was added to The Sims 4 as part of the Businesses and Hobbies Expansion Pack, allowing your Sims to become artists using a whole new canvas — their fellow Sims.  Using the Tattooing skill and the features added with Businesses and Hobbies, your Sims can open up their very own tattoo studio, earning their living from decorating skin. However, as with any other skill, they won’t be good to begin with.  Your Sim will start out by giving “bad tattoos” that, while they unlock new tattoos to use on your own Sim, are likely to cause tension with whoever is now stuck with the design on their body. You’ll need to hone your craft, increase your skill, and eventually work up to creating masterpieces for other Sims to enjoy.  Here’s everything you need to know about leveling up the Tattooing skill in The Sims 4. You’ll find it in the Activities and Skills section of the Build and Buy menu, and it costs 920 Simoleons. Once you’ve got it, you can offer to give a tattoo to anyone who happens to be nearby. Results will vary, so be prepared for some rough encounters during the early days.  Image by Destructoid If you want to increase your Tattooing skill without subjecting anyone to the pain of a badly given tattoo, you can also practice on the Digitalistic Sketchpad. It's found in the Activities and Skills section of the Build and Buy menu for 750 Simoleons. You can practice both Painting and Tattooing on here, and while the skill may increase a little slower, it’s preferred over permanently scarring another sim.  As you increase your skill level, you’ll also unlock new tattoo designs by practicing on the Digitalistic Sketchpad, and you’ll get a canvas of your design to sell or place on the wall.  The Sims 4 Tattooing skill cheat Image by Destructoid If you’re impatient or just want to dive into a new career as a Tattoo artist without the hassle of leveling up the skill, you can do that with cheats.
