Chemena Kamali Reinvents Chloé Heritage for Fall/Winter 2025

For Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Creative Director Chemena Kamali once again captured the essence of the "Chloé girl" while expanding her message beyond the typical look associated with the luxury fashion house. In the new clothes, Kamali reinvents boho-chic heritage.

Drawing inspiration from former Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld’s eras at Chloé, both the 1970s and the bohemian spirit of the 2000s, Kamali reinterprets a fluid and spontaneous feminine wardrobe for Fall/Winter 2025. In it, there are clear British aristocratic influences blended with grunge and vintage codes. The runway during Paris Fashion Week featured quilted coats that resembled Victorian jackets, lace dresses structured by discreet crinolines, and ensembles that evoked 1980s glamour with pronounced shoulders and pussy-bow blouses.

But the real star of the show might have been in the accessories department, thanks to the return of the Paddington bag, the brand's iconic it-bag of the 2000s. The reissue version appears a bit lighter and can be worn more discreetly than in its heyday. By playing on nostalgia while bringing a subtle modernity, Kamali confirms her profound design talent. The new collection smartly revisits Chloé archives while adding a contemporary sensibility, anchored in the natural evolution of the feminine wardrobe. Celebrities are loving the look, too. Stars like Doechii (who joined barefoot and in a semi-sheer dress) sat front row at the Paris show in committed boho-chic Chloé ensembles.
