Destiny 2 Year of Prophecy roadmap

2025 is going to be a busy year for Destiny 2 fans, and Bungie has revealed the Year of Prophecy roadmap. The roadmap can be divided into two broad parts: one for the content launching during the summer of 2025, while the latter will be available in December. This guide will provide you with all the important information to keep in mind. Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate Release Date and Content The Edge of Fate will be available in two parts. Expansion to be released on July 15 Ash and Iron (major update) to be released on September 9 Both parts will have Rewards Pass, along with new content to enjoy (more on that later). Destiny 2 Renegades Release Date and Content The Renegades will be available in two parts. Expansion to be released on December 2 Shadow and Order (major update) to be released on March 3 Both parts will have a Rewards Pass, along with new content to enjoy. Expansion New Stories New Locations New Missions New Weapons New Gear The Edge of Fate Raid Renegades Dungeon Major Update New and Reprised Activities New Sandbox Meta New Events New Modifiers and Challenges New Gear and Artifact Mods Rewards Pass Exotic Weapon and Ornament Legendary Weapon and Armor Ornaments Cosmetics The content for both parts of the Year of Prophecy Content looks pretty similar in structure, with one slight difference. The Edge of Fate will feature a special Raid in Destiny 2 that will be released mid-2025. Renegades, on the other hand, will have a fresh dungeon that we will be able to grind in. While there are plenty of great reasons to be excited about the upcoming content, the Renegades is going to be a Star Wars-themed piece of content, so it's naturally drawing a lot of interest. Both expansions will be paid upgrades, so you'll have to purchase them separately. It will be interesting to see the reception for these upcoming expansions once they go live.
