DIY Tool Checklist?
Hi. I have zero plumbing experience beyond very basic stuff like installing toilets or faucets. I’m doing a DIY project in my basement, where I’m going to swap out my current water softening system with some new ones, and may include new systems like an iron filter. What are some tools or resources I should have before I dive into this? The piping already exists, so I’m going to simply disconnect the current water softening tank and connect the new one. I may need to extend the line to add a new tank somehow. I also have copper pipes. I have no special tools or equipment besides basic stuff.
