Electrical outlet with 6 wires?
(We are in the U.S.) We are painting our dining room and I was replacing all the electrical outlets today. I came across one that had 6 wires attached to it. 3 hot and 3 neutral. The hot side had two hot wires on one lug and the third on the other lug. Same for the neutral side. Why so many? All the other outlets had one hot and one neutral.
