EMEA has been relatively quiet in terms of roster changes, but it was merely the calm before the storm. With VCT EMEA Stage 1 2025 just around the corner, wild rumors are already getting reported.
While some teams are making adjustments following their underwhelming performance in Kickoff, even well-performing teams have opted to bench players. Below, we’ve compiled a list of all the roster changes in VCT EMEA ahead of Stage 1.
BBL Esports
BBL Esports won two series before being eliminated from Kickoff EMEA, falling to tough opponents—Team Heretics and Team Liquid. Given the intense competition this season, the organization has announced the departure of their analyst Scuttt.
“We say goodbye to Benjamin ‘Scuttt’ Hutchinson, analyst for our VCT EMEA team. We thank him for his contributions and wish him success and happiness in his future career,” BBL Esports announced on X (Twitter).
BBL Esports’s roster for Stage 1:
- Elias ‘Jamppi’ Olkkonen
- Volkan ‘sociablEE’ Yönal
- Dawid ‘PROFEK’ Święć
- Burak ‘LêwN’ Alkan
- Vakaris ‘vakk’ Bebravičius
- Salih ‘marqnue’ Onaran (Head Coach)
- Gregor ‘PAL’ Morton (Assistant Coach)
Team Liquid
Considering Team Liquid’s performance in Kickoff EMEA and their losses to some of the strongest teams they could face in Masters Bangkok, a roster change comes as a surprise. However, according to a report by Alejandro Gomis from Sheep Esports, they will be benching Kamyk ahead of Stage 1.
While an official announcement from Team Liquid is still pending regarding Kamyk’s status and his replacement, here’s the active roster heading into EMEA Stage 1:
- Ayaz ‘nAts’ Akhmetshin
- Patryk ‘paTiTek’ Fabrowski
- Georgio ‘keiko’ Sanassy
- Kamil ‘kamo’ Frąckowiak
- TBA
- Ivo ‘LohaN’ Albino (Head Coach)
- Daniel ‘yaotziN’ Roczniak (Assistant Coach)
VCT EMEA Stage 1 is all set to kick off on March 26th and fans will be able to catch the action live on VCT EMEA’s official Twitch and YouTube channel.
